DOBER’S COVID-19 RESPONSE

Dober is committed to providing a safe, healthy and clean workplace and to promote the health and well-being of our employees, customers, visitors and vendors. With the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation rapidly developing, we will be resilient, we will be nimble, and we will always lean on our core value to ‘do the right thing’.

The goods and services that Dober provides are deemed essential by the Department of Homeland Security and by [our] IL Governor Pritzker's Executive stay at home order. Click here to learn more about Dober's essential products and services. 

In order to ensure no service or product interruptions to our customers, we have developed short-term policies and guidelines related to COVID-19 for our team members. The information below is reflective of our guidelines and policies as of March 21, 2020. We have a task force that meets at least daily to reassess our policies, and as our policies change, we will also change the information posted here.

EMPLOYEE TRAVEL:

In order to minimize the amount of interaction and to encourage social distancing in concentrated places during the COVID-19 outbreak period, we are cancelling all non-essential travel. Essential travel is only for those Dober employees that are required to manufacture, distribute, or service Dober products. Dober employee's travel exemption can be found by clicking here

In addition to following the latest guidelines from the CDC, the individuals that are traveling for Dober are taking an abundance of caution as they travel to, from, and within Dober or customer sites. They are also required to follow any guidelines set forth by the customer sites they are visiting.

WORK FROM HOME POLICY:

The rest of Dober's employees are working from home. Dober’s IT infrastructure has been stress-tested and can support the increased [remote] workload on our systems. Our discipline over the years of leveraging collaboration and communication platforms such as Office 365, Asana, and Hubspot have prepared us to maintain the high level of service and the response our customers have come to expect from us. 

VISITORS TO DOBER:

Only visitors deemed essential to travel shall visit Dober. We are in contact with those vendors which are required for us to maintain operations. If you have not heard from us but plan on visiting Dober, please reach out to your host to ensure you are deemed essential for our ongoing operations.
