Dober Gift Helps Fund Science Education Experiences at Homewood Science Center

Woodridge, IL — As part of Dober's ongoing mission to promote scientific curiosity and innovation, Dober recently made a donation to the Homewood Science Center to help support its mission of youth science education and exploration.

Since 2016, Dober has been a proud Founders’ Club supporter of the Homewood Science Center (18022 Dixie Hwy, Homewood, IL). In addition to providing financial support, Dober has actively partnered with the Center in a number of ways, including hosting a Pop Up Science event, contributing to Green Lab career videos, and engaging directly with youth through STEM Saturdays and Girls STEAM.

Team members like Jessica Kask (pictured at right), Dober critical cleaning lab manager, have been especially involved, volunteering during hands-on activities and inspiring the next generation of curious learners. Dober's Jessica Kask during a 2025 Homewood Science Center event

“Dober walks the walk when it comes to investing in the next generation," said Edie Dobrez, executive director of Homewood Science Center. "Their team has given generously of their time, talent, and resources, always showing up for young people with hands-on activities, mentorship, and career inspiration. We are deeply grateful for their belief in our mission to inspire scientific wonder, learning, and pursuit.”

Dober's continued involvement with the Homewood Science Center reflects its commitment to fostering scientific curiosity and a spirit of innovation in future generations of budding scientists.
